Workshop on Data Protection Impact Assessment and Digital Civil Identity

On  September 2021, a workshop on Data Protection Impact assessments for e and digital civil identity was held, with the participation of national and international experts and also  the main actors involved in both the regulation of the Data Protection Impact Report and the development and implementation of digital civil identity systems in Brazil. The workshop aimed to encourage the debate about this important instrument established by the General Data Protection Law and relate it to the digital identity initiatives existing in Brazil, in order to demonstrate the importance of its application during the development of such systems, so that a digital identity model that is safe and reliable for data subjects can be achieved.
