It may seem that data protection disrupts journalism since the Brazilian General Data Protection Law is being misused to interfere with public transparency. But that’s not true. In this episode of Dadocracia, we interviewed journalist Reinaldo Chaves and lawyer Letícia Klein, both from Abraji (Brazilian Association of Investigative Journalism), to understand the impact of the Brazilian General Data Protection Law on journalistic activity and the importance of freedom of expression as one of the foundational principles of the Law.
