Essay on the Draft Bill 3228/2021, altering the National Civil Identification Law
After a draft bill (PL) was submitted to the National Congress that will, if approved, amend the National Civil Identification Law, a brief essay was published in Jota, with the goal to bring some preliminary reflections on the current structure of the National Civil Identification system and analyze some points of concern regarding data protection and abusive use of data brought by the draft bill, highlighting the importance of mediation between the National Civil Identification Law and the protection of personal data.
