Description

Safe Circuit is a project that aims to offer training in different regions of Brazil through workshops, classes or dialogues related to the daily lives of agents and organizations. The aim is to provide training that focuses on local challenges and their solutions. To this end, the idea is to offer thematic axes for the selected Embaixadas Data to develop workshops on digital rights, favoring local partners and their localized knowledge.

Data Privacy Teaching and Data Privacy Brasil Research Association

Ph.D. in Commercial Law and master’s in civil law from the University of São Paulo Law School. He was a study visitor for the Department of Personal Data Protection of the European Data Protection Board/EDPB and the Council of Europe, and a visiting researcher at the Centre for Law, Technology, and Society at the University of Ottawa Law School. He is the author of the book “Proteção de Dados Pessoais: a função e os limites do consentimento” (Personal Data Protection: the role and limits of consent). He is a member of the Latin American Network of Studies on Surveillance, Technology and Society/LAVITS, and also of the International Association of Privacy Professionals – IAPP, with a CIPP/E Certification. He is the founder and director of Data Privacy Brasil, an intersection space between a school of courses and a research association in the area of privacy and data protection.

Master's student in Law from UFMG and Graduated in Law from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora. He is a Researcher at the Data Privacy Brasil Research Association, in addition to composing the production of the podcast Dadocracia.

Bachelor in International Relations from the Federal University of ABC (São Bernardo do Campo/SP), completing academic mobility for specialization in Anthropology and Media, Internet and Globalization from the Federal Fluminense University (Niterói/SP) works as a researcher at the Foreign Policy Observatory and Brazilian International Insertion of UFABC under the GT Security, Defense and Grand Strategy. He develops a career in the area of Project Management, Privacy and Data Protection, International Education and Technopolitics with a focus on projects providing access to transnational education systems, with a focus on technology, interdisciplinary and sustainable impact. He has been Community Manager at Data Privacy Brasil since July 2024.
